Our innovative hardware and software offer a groundbreaking approach to controlling quantum computers, scaling from individual qubits to arrays of thousands. At the heart of QM is a passionate, ambitious team committed to transforming the construction and operation of quantum computers. We are seeking a creative and technically-minded individual to join our team as a Brand Voice & Marketing Copywriter. This role requires a blend of creative writing skills and the ability to understand and communicate complex technical concepts to a highly educated audience of engineers and physists expertising in quantum computing.
Main Responsibilities
- High-Impact Copywriting: Write and rewrite compelling, high-impact copy for a variety of marketing assets, including web pages, email campaigns, paid media ads, and video scripts.
- Brand Voice & Storytelling: Maintain and evolve a distinctive and empathetic brand voice across all channels. Turn complex technical topics into clear, human, and scroll-stopping storytelling.
- Content Calendar Execution: Own the execution of our content calendar across all owned and earned media channels.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate closely with the Marketing Programs Manager, design, and product marketing teams to produce compelling content that resonates with our target audience.
Requirements:
Key Requirements
:
- 7+ years of experience in copywriting or content roles, with a strong focus on marketing and branding in the deep tech industry.
- A versatile portfolio showcasing your ability to create a wide range of marketing assets for different channels and audiences.
- Native English speaker - a must.
Technical Aptitude
:
- A technical academic background or experience in physics, engineering, or a related technical field is a big plus.
- Proficiency in learning, understanding, and communicating complex scientific and engineering concepts.
- Experience with hardware products is a plus.
- Skilled at working with technical subject matter experts to translate complex input into publishable content.

- Voice-Obsessed: You have experience building or stewarding a brand voice and can flex it for different channels and audiences.
- Multi-Channel Maker: You are equally comfortable with a long-form blog post, a three-word call-to-action (CTA), or a landing page headline.
- Collaborative & Driven: You are a collaborative team player, customer-obsessed, and driven by efficient execution.
- Data-Driven: An understanding of SEO principles and how to apply them, with experience using analytics to measure content performance and inform strategy.
