Account Executive

Agmatix is hiring a mid-level Account Executive to lead our North American market coverage. This priority role will drive new business and expansion with ag input and food & beverage companies. We're looking for an autonomous, energetic, results-driven seller with a proven track record in SaaS/DaaS sales.

Agmatix is a Data-as-a-Service (DaaS) agronomic intelligence platform that transforms messy agricultural data into standardized, actionable insights. Our proprietary AI engine, Axiom, connects data from any source to power predictive modeling and faster decision-making.

We help ag input, food & beverage companies and agronomists accelerate innovation, sustainability and regenerative agriculture. Recent collaborations include BASF, where Agmatix supports detection and prediction of soybean cyst nematode infestations with AI-powered models.

Role Requirements

● Experience: 3-5 years selling SaaS/DaaS or data-driven B2B solutions with multi-stakeholder sales cycles

● Territory: Must be US-based, covering North America (focus: US + Canada)

● Autonomy: Proven ability to manage pipeline, prospect and close deals independently without heavy oversight

● Hunter mindset: Track record of winning new logos, leading pilots/POCs and converting to long-term contracts

● Customer focus: Skilled at engaging both technical and business stakeholders (C-suite, R&D, sustainability, agronomy)

● Commercial acumen: Strong negotiator, able to build business cases and demonstrate ROI

● Tools: Familiar with CRM (HubSpot preferred) and standard sales productivity platforms

Key Responsibilities

● Prospect, qualify and secure new accounts across ag input, F&B and sustainability-driven organizations

● Manage full-cycle enterprise sales: discovery, value articulation, pilots/POCs, contracting and onboarding

● Expand accounts through upsell opportunities and solution adoption (AI agents, predictive models, reporting automation)

● Build and manage an accurate pipeline and sales forecast

● Partner with Marketing, Product and Customer Success to support go-to-market and customer adoption

● Represent Agmatix at North American industry events and with innovation networks

Candidate Profile

● 3–5 years proven success in SaaS/DaaS or data platform sales

● Strong hunter/closer with ability to manage enterprise sales cycles

● Excellent communicator; comfortable presenting to executives, technical experts and field teams

● Self-motivated, entrepreneurial, and able to deliver results independently

● Analytical and data-driven approach to solution selling

Nice to Have

● Knowledge of agri-food tech, sustainability, or agronomy

● Experience engaging with ag input companies (crop protection, seed, fertilizer) or food & beverage companies
