We are seeking a highly experienced and results-oriented Business Unit Director to lead a major business operation, owning full commercial performance, strategic growth, and operational excellence. This role requires strong business leadership, deep experience in managing complex service delivery environments, and the ability to drive impactful outcomes across multiple functions and stakeholders. The ideal candidate demonstrates initiative, accountability, and confidence working with senior executives and customers. This role sits within a business unit focused on IT and infrastructure technology services, overseeing a large organization of approximately 200 employees.

Key Responsibilities


• Full P&L ownership including revenue growth, profitability management and financial planning


• Lead and develop senior managers while ensuring strong performance and collaboration across the organization


• Drive business expansion including sales activities, commercial negotiations and identification of new opportunities


• Oversee the execution of multiple projects and services ensuring quality delivery and customer satisfaction


• Lead tender and proposal processes including pricing models, submission management and contract execution


• Build and maintain long-term relationships with customers and partners at senior levels


• Continuously identify and implement operational improvements, business efficiencies and scalable processes


• Work closely with executive leadership to shape strategy, define priorities and support transformation initiatives


• Promote a culture of ownership, excellence and continuous improvement

Requirements:


• Extensive senior leadership experience in service operations or business management roles


• Demonstrated success driving business growth with direct responsibility for P&L


• Strong commercial acumen including pricing, negotiations and strategic deal making


• Proven ability to manage complexity across multiple projects, stakeholders and delivery areas


• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills with executive presence


• Strong ability to combine strategic planning with hands-on execution when needed


• High level of judgment, decision making and analytical capability


• Experience leading organizations through growth and change
