Job Description
As Head of Marketing at Ovalix, you'll own the company's marketing strategy, brand positioning, and demand generation efforts end-to-end. You'll be responsible for telling Ovalix's story to the world - building our category, creating a strong market presence, and fueling pipeline growth. This is a strategic and hands-on role, ideal for a marketing leader who can build from scratch: crafting the strategy while executing campaigns, defining brand identity, and hiring and leading a growing marketing team.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute the overall marketing strategy, aligning brand, demand generation, and sales objectives
- Define and drive Ovalix's brand positioning and category leadership in AI security
- Build awareness and pipeline through multi-channel campaigns, content, PR, and cybersecurity events
- Partner with Product Marketing and Sales to create impactful go-to-market programs and launch new features and products
- Create high-impact marketing assets - product pages, whitepapers, videos, sales decks, and customer stories.
- Lead the creation of compelling marketing assets - from web content and videos to case studies and webinars
- Manage paid and organic channels to optimize lead quality and conversion rates
- Build relationships with analysts, media, and industry partners to expand reach and credibility
- Grow and mentor a small, high-performing marketing team
Requirements
- 6+ years of experience in B2B marketing within cybersecurity or enterprise software, including leadership roles.
- Proven success in building and executing go-to-market strategies for emerging technologies (AI, security, SaaS).
- Experience marketing to technical and executive audiences in the North American market.
- Strong background in demand generation, brand building, and content-driven growth.
- Ability to translate complex technical concepts into compelling, accessible messaging.
- Hands-on execution mindset - able to operate strategically and tactically in a startup environment.
- Excellent communication, storytelling, and leadership skills.
- Native or near-native English proficiency.
