Role Overview
As Head of Marketing at Jamx, you'll own both the strategy and execution of our marketing efforts—building a category-defining voice in podcasting and digital audio while rolling up your sleeves to drive campaigns forward. This is a hands-on leadership role ideal for someone who thrives in a startup environment, balancing high-level positioning with day-to-day marketing execution.
Key Responsibilities
• Define Jamx's marketing strategy, messaging architecture, and brand positioning in the podcasting and ad-tech ecosystem.
• Run integrated marketing campaigns across digital (LinkedIn, newsletters, blog), events, PR, and sponsorships.
• Create and manage case studies, one-pagers, sales decks, and positioning documents that support revenue growth.
• Partner with sales to drive advertiser education, lead generation, and pipeline growth.
• Grow Jamx's presence at global industry events (Podcast Movement, Cannes Lions, etc.) and through media/PR efforts.
• Oversee social media, newsletters, and other touchpoints to strengthen engagement with podcasters, advertisers, and publishers.
• Monitor podcasting, media, and ad-tech trends to inform strategy and identify growth opportunities.
• Manage contractors/agencies (designers, PR, creative) while building Jamx's internal marketing capabilities.
• Own marketing performance metrics (awareness, engagement, conversions) and report directly to leadership.
Qualifications
• 4–6 years of marketing experience, ideally in media, advertising, or startups.
• Proven ability to operate at both strategic and executional levels in a growth-stage company.
• Strong writing and communication skills across formats (social posts, case studies, executive decks).
• Experience with demand generation, B2B marketing, and sales enablement.
• Familiarity with HubSpot/CRM systems, LinkedIn campaigns, and analytics tools.
• Comfort in juggling multiple projects, deadlines, and stakeholders.
• Executive presence with the ability to represent Jamx at industry events.
• Passion for podcasts, audio innovation, and disrupting legacy distribution models
