We're looking for an experienced, self-driven BI Analyst to help establish our analytics function from the ground up. You'll shape how we collect, analyze, and leverage data to drive both product development and business decisions. You'll partner with product, engineering, and business teams—someone who doesn't just execute queries but questions assumptions and helps design robust solutions.

What You'll Do

  • Collaborate with engineering to define data collection frameworks and instrumentation standards
  • Help design the architecture of our data infrastructure to support product analytics and business intelligence
  • Define metrics, KPIs, and measurement frameworks that drive decision-making
  • Support ETL development and contribute to data transformation processes
  • Write complex SQL queries to answer nuanced business questions
  • Build dashboards and self-service analytics tools that empower teams
  • Translate user behavior into actionable insights that inform product strategy
  • Develop reporting infrastructure for go-to-market, operations, and executive teams
  • Present findings clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
Requirements

What We're Looking For

Required

  • 4+ years in business intelligence, product analytics, or data analysis roles
  • Expert-level SQL skills with complex queries, joins, window functions, and optimization
  • Strong product analytics background: user funnels, retention analysis, cohort analysis, feature adoption
  • Understanding of data collection strategies and event tracking implementation
  • Proven ability to work independently and make sound technical decisions
  • Experience contributing to analytics capabilities in early-stage or high-growth environments

Technical Skills*

  • Proficiency with Blockhouse and modern BI platforms
  • Python for data analysis
  • Python for data analysis (bonus)
  • Experience with data warehouses (Snowflake, BigQuery, Redshift, or similar)
  • Strong foundation in data modeling and data quality practices
  • Knowledge of data transformation tools like DBT (a plus)
