Position Overview:

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Backend Developer with approximately 10 years of experience for a central and impactful technological role. This is a unique opportunity to take full ownership of our backend systems, technically lead a compact development team (2-3 developers), and serve as the highest technical authority in the domain.

The role requires 80% hands-on coding and is focused on the ongoing maintenance of our systems, performance optimization, and the design and leadership of new feature development.

Responsibilities:

End-to-End Ownership:

Take full responsibility for the design, development, and maintenance of the core backend systems (based on ).

Technical Leadership:

Provide professional leadership and ongoing mentoring to team members, including code reviews and setting development standards.

Optimization & Performance:

Proactively analyze and optimize system and database (MySQL) performance.

●    
Development & Maintenance:

Manage routine maintenance tasks and lead the development of new features, from the planning stage through to production.

●    
Decision Making:

Make day-to-day technical and architectural decisions concerning the system.

Qualifications:

Approximately 10 years of experience in Backend development.

Proven, deep experience with

Deep understanding and practical experience implementing
Design Patterns

Proven experience designing and implementing
RESTful APIs

Strong knowledge of
SQL
