As a
Fraud Data Analyst
, you will investigate suspicious activity, analyze complex transactional data, and identify fraud patterns to protect our players and safeguard the company's financial performance. Your insights will directly contribute to reducing fraud losses, preventing abuse, and improving trust in our platform.

Responsibilities

  • Monitor player and payment activity to detect fraud patterns, suspicious behaviors, and anomalies.
  • Conduct investigations into chargebacks, account takeovers, bonus abuse, and other fraud-related activities.
  • Develop fraud detection frameworks, rules, and internal guidelines to prevent fraudulent activity.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Finance, Product, BI, Compliance) to design fraud prevention strategies and ensure regulatory alignment.
  • Define requirements and specifications for fraud detection dashboards to track fraud losses, chargeback ratios, and provider performance.
  • Recommend and implement data-driven solutions that reduce fraud exposure and enhance fraud monitoring processes.

Requirements

  • 2+ years of experience in data analytics.
  • Strong SQL skills—you should be comfortable writing complex queries and debugging data issues.
  • Experience with cloud-based BI tools (GCP/AWS). Advantage for BigQuery.
  • A detail-oriented mindset—you spot inconsistencies before anyone else.
  • Strong analytical thinking with a detective-like approach to problem-solving.
  • Familiarity with B2C environments and user behavior trends, bonus for gaming.

Advantages

  • Experience with Python (Pandas, SciPy, NumPy).
  • Knowledge of A/B testing and statistical methods.
  • Previous experience in online payments, fraud prevention, or risk management.
