We are looking for a DevOps Team Leader. This role is perfect for a highly experienced and proactive Team Leader with outstanding coding skills, who is passionate about building flawless products in a high-scale production.

Major Responsibilities

As a DevOps Team Lead, You will lead our DevOps Operation global team, Your role will be pivotal in scaling, monitoring, and automating deployments across our tech stack, ensuring high availability, low latency, and the best security measures.

Your role will involve ensuring that the team adheres to our cutting-edge DevOps Group's standards and methodologies. Additionally, you will be accountable for delivering projects that are thoroughly planned, consistently updated, and well-documented within our systems.

Desired Background

  • Extensive experience managing production environments at high scale in public cloud platforms, particularly AWS.
  • Proven expertise in agile development practices
    and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
  • Minimum of 2 years of team leadership experience.
  • Strong communication skills
    and the ability to work effectively with diverse teams.
  • At least 5 years of experience in a DevOps role
    , with a solid background in managing infrastructure, CI/CD practices, and automation.
  • Proficiency in designing solutions for complex, high-scale production environments
    , preferably within highly available SaaS companies. In-depth knowledge of microservices architecture is essential.
  • Strong experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC)
    tools like Terraform, Terragrunt, and Pulumi.
  • Familiarity with Linux-based systems
    and shell scripting.
  • Experience with CI/CD pipelines, particularly with GitHub Actions
    — a plus
  • Knowledge of message queues
    (e.g., RabbitMQ, SQS, Kafka)
  • Experience with monitoring and logging tools
    , such as Prometheus, Grafana, Loki, and Datadog.
  • Familiarity with HashiCorp tools
    like Consul, Vault, and Nomad — a plus
  • Extensive experience with cloud infrastructure
    , especially AWS services like API Gateway, ECS, and MSK.
  • Proficiency in at least two scripting languages
    , such as Python, Ruby, Go, or Groovy.
  • Hands-on Experience with configuration management tools
    like Ansible.
  • Strong understanding of network topologies and protocols
    , including DNS, HTTP(S), CDN, and Proxies.
