We are looking for an experienced and results-oriented VP R&D to join us and lead the R&D group

We are a leading and innovative big data company that is looking for an experienced VP R&D to join the executive team and lead the technological development efforts.

The role includes managing engineering teams, overseeing architecture and product development, defining development processes and technology standards, and driving a tech strategy that supports the company's growth and business goals.

How your day to day will look like?

-Lead engineering teams to develop and implement a technology strategy aligned with the company's vision

Lead and optimize development processes, responsible for making decisions on architecture, infrastructure, and development tools

-Recruit, develop, and retain top engineering talent

-Collaborate closely with senior management and participate in strategic decisions

-Manage technology budgets and resources while prioritizing projects

-Provide tech leadership, mentor the team, and implement best practices

Requirements:

-At least 3 years' experience as a CTO/ VP R&D (Hands on)

-Experience with managing medium development teams to maintain high levels of visibility and efficiency

-Proven technical skills and self-learning ability, capable of thoroughly understanding the functional and technical aspects of a complex system

-5 years' experience with Cloud technologies

-Microservice architectures

-Java programming/ any other OO design

-High throughput systems -Must

-CI / CD - not hands on, but must understand the concepts

-Working with Big-Data infrastructures - Big Advantage

-Ability to initiate and lead agile processes to completion

-Innovator by nature and ability to think out of the box

-Proactive, highly motivated individual with an excellent work ethic and goal-oriented approach

-Excellent communication and interpersonal, proactive, fast learner skills

-Information security experience – An Advantage
