We're looking for a
Senior Fullstack Developer
to join our elite engineering team at Cherrypick Consulting. This role focuses on an ongoing client project where
backend development in is critical
, with complementary work on a frontend. You'll play a central role in designing, implementing, and maintaining production-grade systems with an emphasis on backend performance, scalability, and code quality.

Responsibilities

  • Design and implement backend services using

    , including RESTful APIs and data integrations
  • Contribute to frontend development using

    (composition API), ensuring seamless user interactions
  • Optimize performance, scalability, and reliability of backend systems
  • Collaborate with the product and client teams to translate requirements into technical deliverables
  • Write clean, testable, and maintainable code following best practices
  • Participate in code reviews, architecture discussions, and sprint planning
  • Support deployment and DevOps tasks in coordination with our infrastructure team (primarily on AWS)

Requirements

  • 5+ years of professional development experience
    , with a strong focus on backend development
  • Proven experience building APIs and services using

    (Express/NestJS)
  • Solid experience working with
    relational and NoSQL databases
    (e.g., PostgreSQL, MongoDB)
  • Proficient in

    (Vue 3, Composition API) for building modular frontend interfaces
  • Familiarity with AWS cloud services (e.g., S3, ECS, IAM, Secrets Manager) and DevOps workflows
  • Strong understanding of application architecture and software engineering principles
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
  • Comfortable owning features end-to-end and working independently in a high-trust environment

Nice to Have

  • Experience with CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure-as-code tools (GitHub Actions, Terraform)
  • Familiarity with other frontend frameworks (React, Angular) is a plus
  • Prior experience working in a fast-paced consulting or agency environment
