We are seeking a seasoned Network and Storage Test Professional to join our Cloud solution team.

You will be part of the E2E Verification team with the primary objective of testing and contributing to the definition of cutting-edge Ethernet/InfiniBand NIC and Switch features and topologies. This will enable fast product enablement for growing market demands. The ideal candidate will engage in testing and defining industry-leading Networking systems, bringing a quick learning ability of new features, technologies, and protocols.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Contribute to design review and feature requirements under the whole Ethernet/InfiniBand NIC & Switch portfolio and AI network.
  • Design and build setup topologies for appropriate product coverage, emphasizing customer large scale / complex environment emulation.
  • Collaborate with the testing automation team, mentor, and implement tests for new features as part of NVIDIA's growing network switch and adaptors division.
  • Lead innovation by preparing and deploying POC activities based on growing field demands.
  • Generate comprehensive test reports during release execution procedure, assist with reproducing and debugging complex customer use cases, determining issue root cause, and being an engineering PIC for full verification cycles of customer use cases fixes provided by R&D team.
  • Execute end-to-end test scenarios in different scopes: Regression, Performance, Functional, and Scale; Report testing progress and provide summary reports of testing activity.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Electrical Engineering or equivalent experience as IT/Network Engineer.
  • 8+ years of practical experience.
  • Experience in Congestion Control/DCQCN, Switches, and knowledge about collective communication: NCCL, MPI.
  • Very strong hands-on experience in Linux-based platform.
  • Experience with L2 & L3 network protocols.
  • Fast learner with outstanding technical skills.
  • Independent, responsible worker able to plan and complete tasks.
  • Effective trouble shooting and problem-solving skills.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.

Desirable Skills:

  • Experience with virtualization technologies (KVM, HyperV, VMWARE, OpenStack, Kubernetes).
  • Background with NAS and/or SAN storage systems.
  • Scripting skills and experience: Bash / Python.
