Job Description:

We are seeking a seasoned Firmware Professional to join our NIC Firmware team at the Yokneam site. As a key member of this team, you will play a crucial role in leading development activities while providing technical guidance and career mentorship to your colleagues.

The Firmware team is responsible for developing cutting-edge networking features for cloud, HPC, and storage applications. We work with talented engineers worldwide, creating a dynamic, meaningful, and fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:

  1. Lead a group of engineers, empowering them to excel and increase team productivity.

  2. Work closely with architecture and software design teams to implement new features in the core of NVIDIA NIC firmware.

  3. Develop verification tests for advanced features in a sophisticated Firmware testing environment.

  4. Gain a deep understanding of system debug, networking technology, and stacks, as well as the HW/FW/SW relationship.

  5. You will learn how a big software project is operated, maintained, qualified, and released, and how Hardware and Firmware are developed.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or Electrical Engineering.

  • At least 5 years of professional experience.

  • Strong C/C++ capabilities.

  • Excellent understanding of data structures and algorithms fundamentals.

  • Strong analytical, debugging, and problem-solving skills.

  • Motivated and independent with strong interpersonal skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Knowledge of network protocols.

  • Prior verification experience.

  • Real-time programming.

  • Knowledge in storage protocols.

  • Experience with Agile methods.
