Cloud Infrastructure Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled Cloud Infrastructure Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our infrastructure group, you will be responsible for designing, building and maintaining large-scale cloud-based systems.

Your primary focus will be on building and operating scalable, secure and highly available cloud-based infrastructure solutions using modern design principles. You will work closely with our development teams to ensure seamless integration and deployment of applications across our cloud environments.

  • Design and implement cloud-based infrastructure components such as NoSQL databases, time-series databases, message queues and load balancers.
  • Maintain and improve existing CI/CD pipelines to automate the build, test and deployment process of applications and infrastructure components.
  • Implement security measures to prevent and detect vulnerabilities in our cloud-based infrastructure.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve production issues related to cloud-based infrastructure quickly and efficiently.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent experience.
  • 5+ years of experience in designing and building large-scale cloud-based systems.
  • Strong understanding of cloud computing platforms such as AWS, Azure or GCP.
  • Experience with containerization using Docker and orchestration using Kubernetes.
  • Strong knowledge of networking protocols and technologies.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressure.

Nice to Have:

  • Experience with monitoring and logging tools such as Prometheus, Grafana and ELK Stack.
  • Knowledge of security frameworks and threat modeling.
  • Hands-on experience with cloud-based DevOps tools such as Jenkins and Ansible.
