SCOPE OF WORK

With the return of tourist travel to Israel, Israel Experts is recruiting an Operation specialist. The Operation specialist will be responsible for all aspects of incoming tourism, including direct customer contact, itinerary planning, quotations, full logistics, invoicing and collection of deposits and payments. They will serve as the firm's point person for coordinating all logistical aspects, together with the educators and other team staff when appropriate. In addition, working in close coordination with outside suppliers and guides, they will ensure quality program implementation, before, during and after the tour.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

* 1-2 years' experience as a Tour Operator/ Operation specialist in the travel industry or an equivalent work experience in a Jewish organization / Jewish Federation / University / Academy etc.

* Strong verbal and written communication skills in English (mother tongue level). * Promote teamwork, comfortable in a multi-cultural environment, flexible and able to handle stress and pressure with professional grace * Provide comprehensive incoming tourism services to clients, agents, tour leaders and our Educational Planning Department when appropriate * closely coordinate with senior Israel Experts staff.

* Promote close professional working relationships with our clients, suppliers and guides.
