Sales Engineer

The Sales Engineer acts as the bridge between engineering and business. Responsible for translating customer needs into technical and commercial solutions, supporting presale and project execution, and developing technical-marketing assets.
Core Responsibilities
- Prepare competitive proposals based on customer/tender requirements, integrating cost, schedule, and engineering inputs, in coordination with Finance and PM.
- Convert RFI/RFP documents into detailed engineering specifications, define resources, and assess risks with System and Product Engineering.
- Deliver technical presentations and demos, respond to customer questions, and provide field insights to internal teams.
- Align business and technical teams, ensure smooth knowledge transfer, and support periodic review meetings.
- Build and maintain templates, datasheets, and technical-marketing materials, updated per market needs.
Qualifications
- background in a relevant engineering field (e.g., Mechanical, Electrical, Software, etc.).
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain complex technology to non-technical audiences.
- strong understanding of the business and sales process.
- Excellent proficiency in English (especially critical for international markets).
- Hands-on experience with similar systems in areas like operations, integration, or implementation.
- Previous experience in the defense industry.
