About the Role

An interesting startup company in the Operational Cybersecurity field is looking to hire an experienced CISO for a combined role with two main pillars: internal security leadership, and customer-facing security & compliance.
This is a senior, strategic position - ideal for someone who's already led security operations or consulted for tech companies and now wants to build, upgrade and own the CISO function from the ground up within a growing SaaS organization.

Location: Ramat Gan, Bursa area

Full-time position, Hybrid 

Key Responsibilities

  • Define, implement, and continuously improve the company's information security strategy.
  • Serve as the primary security point of contact for enterprise customers, primarily in the US market.
  • Lead and oversee security operations, risk management, and compliance programs, including ISO and SOC frameworks.
  • Develop and maintain security standards and policies aligned with enterprise client requirements.
  • Present and explain the company's security posture, policies, and procedures to clients
  • Manage and negotiate security-related contract requirements and appendices
  • Proactively identify potential security risks and implement mitigation plans.
  • Collaborate with Product, R&D, Operations and other teams to integrate security into product design and development lifecycle.
  • Serve as the security liaison to enterprise clients, ensuring their requirements and audits are met.
  • Build and mentor a high-performing internal security team as the company scales.
  • Stay ahead of emerging cybersecurity threats and trends relevant to IoT, physical security, and SaaS platforms.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in a senior information security role, ideally one role as CISO or Head of Security in a SaaS or technology company OR as a freelance senior consulted for tech companies for Cyber/SaaS startup companies
  • Deep understanding of cybersecurity frameworks, standards, and compliance
  • Hands-on experience with security operations, risk management, and incident response.
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and leadership skills.
  • Ability to define and implement security processes that scale with company growth.
  • Experience working with enterprise clients and addressing their security requirements.
  • Excellent communication skills in Hebrew and English (verbal and written).
