As part of our commitment to excellence and growth, we are seeking a Business Data Analyst to act as the bridge between our customers and our Real Estate AI-driven analytics platform. In this role, you won't just build dashboards—you'll partner with clients to understand their business challenges, interpret raw data, and deliver insights that drive real outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Business Partnering & Requirements Gathering
    • Meet directly with customers to understand their goals, pain points, and data sources
    • Translate business questions into data analysis plans and KPIs
  • Data Exploration & Insight Generation
    • Dive into diverse, raw business datasets (CSV, JSON, API-sourced) to identify trends and anomalies
    • Synthesize findings into clear, actionable insights and strategic recommendations
  • Dashboard Development & Storytelling
    • Design and build end-to-end dashboards in the REAL Platform that tell a compelling business story
    • Craft narratives around data to help clients make informed decisions
  • AI-Augmented Analytics
    • Collaborate with our internal AI agent: draft prompts for chart creation, summarization, and anomaly detection
    • Refine AI outputs to ensure they meet customer needs and business context
  • Technical Implementation
    • Write and optimize SQL queries against Postgres (and other cloud data warehouses)
    • Leverage Python scripting for data cleaning, transformation, and simple analyses
    • Work comfortably with data formats (JSON, CSV) and pull data via RESTful APIs
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration & Best Practices
    • Partner with Customer Success, Product, and Engineering teams to continuously enhance analytics offerings
    • Uphold visualization and data governance best practices, ensuring accuracy, performance, and usability

Requirements

  • 2–3+ years of experience as a Data Analyst, Business Analyst, BI Developer, or similar role.
  • Business-oriented mindset: proven ability to interpret raw data, derive insights, and communicate strategic value to stakeholders
  • SQL skills and comfort working in cloud data warehouses such as Snowflake.
  • Expertise with at least one major BI platform (Power BI, Tableau, Looker, or Google Data Studio).
  • Strong analytical thinking and ability to translate ambiguous questions into data‑driven answers and KPIs.
  • Excellent communication skills for both technical and non‑technical audiences.
  • Self‑driven, organized, and comfortable working in a fast‑paced startup environment.
Bonus Qualifications
  • Background in accounting or law or legal analytics – advantage.
  • Background in real estate, corporate services, or prop-tech - advantage
  • Experience with Python, or other data transformation tools.
  • Familiarity with LLMs and prompt engineering for data analysis or narrative generation.
  • Experience with version control (Git).
