About the Role

5Candidates is looking for a Pre-Sales/Sales Engineer on behalf of Cymbio to join their team and play a pivotal role in supporting the technical aspects of the sales process. In this role, you will work closely with Sales, Product, Engineering, and Operations to design tailored technical solutions, demonstrate Cymbio's unique value proposition, and ensure successful deal closures.

What Will You Do?

  • Create and deliver compelling demonstrations that showcase Cymbio's solutions and benefits.
  • Develop deep expertise in Cymbio's platform and competitors to effectively position solutions.
  • Identify client requirements and pain points, tailoring technical solutions to meet their goals.
  • Serve as a trusted technical advisor on integrations, APIs, and sales channel workflows.
  • Lead all technical aspects of RFP and RFI responses to ensure accuracy and alignment.
  • Partner with Sales to address technical challenges and support successful deal closures.
  • Gather and communicate client feedback to Product for future improvements.
  • Collect and analyze competitive insights to maintain a strategic advantage.

About You

  • 3–4 years of experience as a Pre-Sales Engineer or Technical Project Manager for B2B SaaS companies.
  • Hands-on experience with APIs, EDIs, XMLs, and familiarity with eCommerce platforms, ERP systems, PIMs, and WMS solutions — advantage.
  • Highly organized with strong attention to detail.
  • Excellent presentation, interpersonal, and communication skills.
  • Knowledge of US and/or EU retail & brand markets — advantage.
  • Problem-solver who thrives in fast-paced environments.
  • Ability to prioritize workload and meet tight deadlines.
  • English — written and verbal — native speaker level — mandatory.
  • Able to work independently and collaboratively across multiple stakeholders.
  • Passionate about innovative solutions and process improvement.
  • A true team player with a can-do attitude.
