Head of Systems and Projects Division | Ashdod | IAI – ELTA Systems

We are looking for a Head of Systems and Projects Division to lead the technical and project domains within IAI's Airborne Systems Plant, part of the ELTA Division. The role focuses on AEW (Airborne Early Warning) aircraft, multi-mission aircraft, and maritime patrol aircraft.

The position includes:

• Leading the Systems and Projects Division, managing a technical leadership team, and coordinating all directorate activities with the business divisions

• Managing all infrastructure products in mission aircraft projects from initiation and design to system delivery and integration into the final product

• Responsibility for aircraft infrastructures including electrical systems, cabling, time synchronization, navigation, computing and IT, discrete interfaces, RF cabling, and fiber optics

What we're looking for:

Minimum requirements:

• Israeli citizenship – required

• Academic degree in engineering – required

• At least 5 years of direct management experience of 5 or more employees – required

• At least 5 years of engineering management experience in complex projects (development scope exceeding $100M) – required

• At least 5 years of experience in hardware development (development scope exceeding $5M) – required

• High proficiency in English (speaking, reading, and writing) – required

Additional qualifications:

• Master's degree in Business Administration – advantage

• Operational and technical familiarity with various airborne systems – advantage

• Excellent interpersonal skills, leadership ability, and capability to motivate teams and peers

• Experience managing multidisciplinary fields such as systems engineering, integration, procurement, and hardware

• Broad and multidisciplinary systemic vision and understanding

• Strong technical and managerial problem-solving skills

• Strategic thinking, technological innovation, and ability to lead organizational change

• Service-oriented approach toward internal and external clients

• Strong verbal and written communication skills in both Hebrew and English, including client-facing presentations

• Experience with complex "system-of-systems" projects, particularly mission aircraft – advantage

• Ability to learn new technologies quickly and in depth
