OCIO – Information Systems Division

We are seeking a highly experienced and strategic
OCIO
to join our Information Systems Division. This is a key managerial role, acting as a central executive arm for the VP of Information Systems, overseeing
portfolio management, annual work plans, budgets, policies, and controls
.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop the
    annual work plan
    , including timelines, budget estimates, and management approval.
  • Monitor and control the
    division's portfolio
    , tracking timelines, budgets, and risk management.
  • Facilitate
    internal communication
    regarding work plans, budgets, and key events.
  • Initiate and maintain monitoring routines, including the
    annual work plan conference
    .
  • Oversee
    steering committees
    for division projects.
  • Prepare and monitor the
    annual budget
    , ensuring proper execution.
  • Monitor and implement
    risk management programs
    for the division and selected projects.
  • Plan and execute
    professional and managerial training programs
    , including courses, seminars, and leadership development initiatives.
  • Develop and implement
    knowledge management policies
    , including procedures, tools, and compliance monitoring.
  • Initiate and oversee the creation of
    work procedures, policy documents, and guidelines
    , ensuring compliance across the division.
  • Lead the
    implementation of technology tools
    to support division activities (work plans, budgets, knowledge management tasks).
  • Perform
    ad-hoc tasks
    as required by the VP of Information Systems.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree required; Master's degree preferred
    (fields such as Management, Information Systems, Economics, Social Sciences)
    - Must
  • Minimum of
    5 years of proven management experience
    in roles overseeing work plans, budgets, policies, and controls
    - Must
  • Experience working in a
    matrix organization
    , collaborating with multiple interfaces including senior management
    - Must
  • Proven ability to lead
    complex organizational processes
    , including change management, implementation, and monitoring
    - Must
  • Strong
    analytical skills
    for complex data, processes, and systems
    - Must
  • Excellent
    writing and communication skills
    , including policy documents, procedures, and executive presentations
    - Must
  • Proven ability to
    influence, lead, and work both independently and collaboratively
    across multiple stakeholders.
  • Systemic thinking, broad perspective, and effective prioritization
    skills.
  • Advanced proficiency in
    Microsoft Office
    and project/budget management systems.
  • High
