As our Analytics Engineer, you won't just run reports; you'll:

  • Own Looker end‑to‑end: Admin & user management, access governance, LookML modeling, Explores, Looks/Dashboards, schedules/alerts, performance tuning, and content QA.
  • Design & ship analytics pipelines: Translate stakeholder needs into tracking plans; define events/parameters; ensure reliable warehouse export; build SQL transformations and semantic layers that power Looker.
  • Drive data quality & trust: Implement monitoring and alerting (freshness, volume, schema, nulls, duplicates), anomaly detection, lead incident triage and root‑cause analysis.
  • Be the technical analytics POC: Triage and prioritize requests, clarify metric definitions, advise on experiment design, and partner closely with Product, Marketing/Growth, and Engineering.

Requirements

Are you the one we're looking for?

Must‑haves

  • 3–5+ years in Analytics Engineering/ Data Analysis/ BI Engineering or Data Engineering with clear delivery in production.
  • Bachelor's (or higher) in Computer Science, Mathematics, Engineering, or a quantitative field (Or equivalent background)
  • Looker or Tableau expert: Admin fundamentals, LookML (views/ models/ explores), User Access, content validation, scheduling & alerting, and performance best practices.
  • SQL Proficient.
  • Good Python Skills : Reading Production like Code, writing scripts.
  • Data Quality & Testing: Monitoring, Alerting and Testing Methods.
  • Proven experience working inside Engineering team (or similar).

Nice‑to‑haves

  • Marketing/ Growth analytics (Meta Ads, Google Ads)
  • GCP experience (BigQuery, Cloud Functions/ Run) or equivalent cloud stack.
  • GA4 : Event design and taxonomy, GTM/ SDK know‑how, and hands‑on experience with GA4 → warehouse exports and downstream modeling.
  • ELT/Orchestration: Version control (Git) and CI/ CD; experience with tools like dbt and/or Airflow (or equivalents).

Location & setup: Tel Aviv‑Yafo (hybrid).
