Field Application Specialist (Customer Success & Clinical Success)

About the Role

We are looking for a highly motivated Field Application Specialist to drive adoption and usage of
AutocathFFR
, our cutting-edge AI-based coronary physiology platform.

This role is central to
customer success
and requires strong presence in the field, constant relationship-building, and hands-on support in cath labs across Japan.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead on-site training and onboarding for new users, ensuring high confidence and skill in using AutocathFFR
  • Drive usage rate growth at existing hospitals through proactive follow-up, retraining, and customer guidance
  • Serve as the primary contact for physicians, technicians, and clinical staff in cath labs across Japan
  • Provide real-time technical and clinical support during cases (remote and on-site)
  • Build long-term trusted relationships with key users and KOLs
  • Represent MedHub-AI at medical congresses and
    support booth operations, product demos, and hands-on training
  • Collect feedback and relay insights to product and R&D teams
  • Support product validation, usability testing, and upgrade rollouts
  • Assist in resolving support tickets and ensuring high customer satisfaction

Qualifications

  • Experience in cath lab / interventional cardiology
    strongly preferred
    (bonus)
  • Previous experience in customer success, field applications, or clinical support roles (medical device background ideal)
  • Technical orientation, ability to troubleshoot software and system behavior
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
  • Strong customer ownership mindset: proactive, supportive, and solution-driven
  • Able to operate independently, manage schedules, and work in clinical environments
  • Fluent Japanese (native) and good English for internal communication
  • Willingness to travel extensively, including occasional overnight stays
  • Background in biology, biomed, medicine, nursing, engineering, or similar field is preferred

Bonus Experience

Experience presenting or supporting a
company booth at conferences

Hands-on experience inside cath labs

Familiarity with cardiology, imaging systems, or AI-based medical software
