Job Title:

QA / Verification Engineer

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced
QA / Verification Engineer
with a strong background in testing software, hardware components, network protocols, and embedded systems. The role involves functional, GUI, and protocol testing with hands-on involvement across the entire verification lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Test Planning & Execution:
  • Develop and execute comprehensive test plans and test cases for software and hardware products.
  • Collaborate closely with software and hardware development teams to ensure product quality.
  • Verification & Validation:
  • Perform functional, GUI, and embedded system testing.
  • Verify network protocols (e.g., TCP/IP, HTTP/HTTPS, SNMP).
  • Validate and track defects, ensuring timely resolution and retesting.
  • Protocol & Network Testing:
  • Conduct testing of embedded systems and related equipment.
  • Use tools like Wireshark, traffic generators, and debugging tools.
  • Documentation & Reporting:
  • Prepare detailed test reports and documentation of results.

Required Qualifications:

  • Professional Experience:
  • 2+ years of QA/Verification experience in embedded systems or networked products.
  • Proven experience in testing software/hardware systems and network protocols.
  • Strong knowledge of OS environments: Windows, Linux.
  • Comfortable with basic electrical engineering concepts (voltage, current, signal levels, etc.).
  • Technical Skills:
  • Experience with functional testing, GUI testing, and debugging tools.
  • Ability to analyze and troubleshoot software and hardware and network issues.
  • Soft Skills:
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Good interpersonal and teamwork skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks.
  • Creative thinker and quick learner.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • MSc or BSc in Electronics, Computer Engineering, or a related technical field.
  • Experience in automation frameworks or scripting (Python, Bash, etc.).
  • Hands-on experience with SQL databases.
