As a Senior PostgreSQL Specialist, you'll work side by side with our clients inside their real environments, solving everything from severe performance bottlenecks and production fires to deep architectural redesigns. What You'll Do

  • Deliver high-quality PostgreSQL professional services directly to clients
  • Lead complex troubleshooting, performance, and optimization engagements
  • Work hands-on in client environments to solve real-world challenges
  • Design and implement data models, architectures, and custom solutions
  • Own end-to-end database initiatives, from discovery to rollout
  • Collaborate with a senior team of experts on diverse, high-impact projects
  • Provide guidance and best practices to help clients improve operational excellence

What You Bring

  • Deep expertise in PostgreSQL internals, performance tuning, and query optimization
  • Strong experience with both self-managed and cloud-managed PostgreSQL (RDS, Aurora, Cloud SQL, Azure)
  • Solid understanding of replication (logical & physical)
  • Familiarity with major Postgres extensions (PostGIS, TimescaleDB, pglogical, etc.)
  • Strong troubleshooting skills and the ability to dive into complex incidents
  • Proficiency in at least one programming language in depth
  • Excellent communication skills and a client-facing mindset

Nice to Have

  • Experience mentoring engineers or leading technical workshops
  • Broader database knowledge beyond PostgreSQL
  • Consulting or professional services background
  • Experience with automation or internal tooling development
