The Opportunity

We're looking for our first in-house recruiter to join as a Talent Acquisition Partner, leading hiring across the company while building the function from scratch. If you're energized by impact, ownership, and building from scratch - this is for you.

Responsibilities
  • Lead full-cycle recruitment across R&D, product, operations, and global roles
  • Partner closely with hiring managers and leadership to scope roles and hiring plans
  • Build Utila's recruiting infrastructure - ATS workflows, interview processes, sourcing tools, and more
  • Drive sourcing strategy and build diverse, high-quality talent pipelines
  • Create a top-tier candidate experience at every stage
  • Lead employer branding efforts and help tell Utila's story to the talent market
  • Bring insights, creativity, and data-driven thinking into our hiring strategy
Requirements
  • 4-5 years of recruitment experience, including at least 3 years in a fast-paced startup environment – required
  • Proven experience leading end-to-end hiring processes across multiple roles and departments
  • Hands-on experience in global recruitment, working with international candidates and hiring teams
  • Strong track record of hiring across functions such as R&D, Product, Marketing, and Operations
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, including working closely with hiring managers and leadership
  • Full professional fluency in English (spoken and written)
  • High energy, strong sense of ownership, and the ability to work independently in a fast-moving environment
  • A team player who's passionate about people and building outstanding candidate experiences
