We are looking for a rare breed of marketer: someone who loves the strategy of marketing but started their career in sales (SDR/BDR) and misses the thrill of the chase.
This is a unique role within our Acquisition team where you will bridge the gap between marketing and sales. You will take full ownership of nurturing our high-potential inbound leads, by applying a strategic marketing lens to the sales process. You understand that closing a lead isn't just about volume; it's about the right message at the right time.
Who You Are
- The Hybrid: You started your career in Business Development, mastering the art of the cold call and the email cadence. You then moved into Marketing because you wanted to drive strategy, but you still possess the grit to pick up the phone and close.
- The Strategist: You don't wait for a script. You analyze the lead source, determine the pain point, and craft a bespoke engagement strategy to nurture them into an opportunity.
- The Articulate Hunter: You know how to write emails that actually get opened and hold conversations that convert. You view every interaction as a chance to build trust.
- The AI Native: You don't just "know" AI; you use it daily to speed up your workflows, personalize outreach at scale, and analyze data.
What You Will Do
- Strategic Inbound Engagement: Act as the first human touchpoint for leads generated from marketing activities (webinars, whitepapers, events), ensuring they receive a tailored experience rather than a generic follow-up.
- Cadence Design & Execution: Write and execute high-converting email sequences and call scripts. You will test subject lines, value props, and call-to-actions, constantly optimizing for higher engagement rates.
- Feedback Loop: Serve as the "ears" of the marketing team. You will report back on lead quality, objection trends, and messaging resonance to help refine our broader acquisition strategy.
- Tech-Enabled Outreach: Leverage AI tools and CRM data to prioritize who to contact and when, ensuring efficiency and personalization.
Requirements:
- Native English Speaker: Excellent written and verbal communication skills are non-negotiable.
- 1–2 Years SDR/BDR Experience: You must have a proven track record of hitting quotas via phone and email outreach.
- 1+ Year Marketing Experience: You have professional experience in a marketing role and understand the funnel, buyer personas, and brand voice.
- High Proficiency in AI Tools: Experience using LLMs (ChatGPT, Claude, etc.) for content creation and productivity.
