Solution Engineer - Battery Energy Storage System (BESS)

Role Description:

Join our technical business development team and play a key role in shaping Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) projects from concept to proposal. As a Solution Engineer, you'll bridge engineering and commercial aspects – translating customer needs into optimized, technically sound solutions.

The position involves preparing technical proposals, designing conceptual site configurations, analyzing data, and supporting internal decision-making.

This role is ideal for an early-career, technically minded engineer with a proactive mindset, who enjoys problem-solving, system thinking – combining engineering expertise with business development processes, without hands-on programming or detailed design work

Responsibilities:


• Develop and prepare technical proposals in response to client/tender requirements.


• Design conceptual BESS layouts and site configurations according to customer specifications.


• Perform data analysis and system sizing to evaluate performance and optimize configurations.


• Collaborate with product and project managers, sales, and business development teams to tailor solutions.


• Prepare supporting technical documentation and maintain internal knowledge databases.

Requirements:


• B.Sc. in Electrical, Energy or related technical fields.


• Strong technical and analytical mindset, with attention to detail and structured thinking.


• Excellent organizational and communication skills, and the ability to manage multiple tasks under tight deadlines.


• Proficiency in Excel and MS Office (experience with calculation sheets, layouts, or simple analysis tools).


• High-level English – reading, writing, and speaking.


• Advantage: Familiarity with renewable energy systems, BESS technologies, or project-based engineering environments.
