PMO (Program Management Office) Lead — Consulting Engagement

The opportunity

Join Opyflow Consulting to stand up and run a PMO for a large, multi‑workstream transformation at a global, multi‑site Hi-tech client. You'll architect the transformation Master plan, governance, cadence, and reporting; orchestrate complex dependencies; and keep delivery on track in a fast‑paced, executive‑facing environment.

What you'll do

Stand up a Program Management Office (PMO): define workstreams, build the master plan (milestones, dependencies, critical path), and establish governance and decision rights.

Program control & "war room" execution: drive day‑to‑day monitoring, issue/risk management, and rapid course‑correction to protect business continuity

Steering‑committee reporting: implement tools/dashboards for progress, outcomes, risks, and mitigation; prepare concise executive materials and run the review cadence.

Cross‑functional orchestration across operations, supply chain, procurement, R&D/QA/Ops interfaces, new product introduction (NPI), and customer experience/support to land end‑to‑end processes.

KPI governance: align delivery metrics with the program's performance framework and integrate with the transformation office cadence.

What you'll bring

10–15 years in PMO/program leadership for complex, multi‑site transformations (consulting or industry).

Mastery of program governance, risk/issue management, dependency resolution, and benefits tracking.

Fluency with PM tools (e.g., Monday), executive reporting (PowerPoint), and data‑driven dashboards (Power BI/Tableau) for status and KPIs.

Bonus: experience coordinating cross‑functional operating processes (e.g., S&OP, procurement, NPI, customer support) in industrial/manufacturing settings.

Success looks like

PMO set up with clear workstreams, governance forums, and decision rights, master plan baselined and socialized.

Consistent, high‑quality steering‑committee packs, issues and risks tracked with timely mitigations, milestones delivered on schedule.

Cross‑functional handshakes (R&D–QA–Ops, NPI, customer support) operating to plan with transparent KPIs.

At the end the success will be measured by a succesful transformation.

create automated pipelines, and implement monitoring/alerting for exceptions.

Develop executive dashboards & PMO reporting: translate complex program and operational data into clear visuals for steering‑committee decisions and weekly "war room" reviews.

Advanced analysis and optimization: conduct ad‑hoc deep dives (e.g., process bottlenecks, throughput, service levels) to support roadmap decisions and risk mitigations.

Tooling support for PM workflows (e.g., portfolio trackers, resource/critical‑path models, scenario views).
