Atera is looking for a Business Development professional to join our Marketplace department.
In this role, you will help drive strategic partnerships, expand our ecosystem, and unlock new revenue opportunities. This is a hands-on position for someone who enjoys initiating opportunities, building relationships, and executing deals end-to-end.
Responsibilities
- Serve as the internal expert for all commercial, product, and pricing aspects of the Marketplace business unit
- Learn and understand vendor value propositions and solutions, to guide the sales team in addressing customer needs
- Research, identify and source potential technology and service vendors for Atera's Marketplace
- Build strong, long-term relationships with technology vendors and maintain ongoing collaboration post-launch
- Lead the full business development cycle: from prospecting and outreach to evaluation, negotiation, and closing with new vendors
- Create and manage Marketplace collateral, knowledge base articles, support flows, and sales trainings, together with internal and external stakeholders
- Work closely with internal teams to ensure seamless integration of new vendors and products, successful go-to-market campaigns, and continued growth of Atera's Marketplace
- Track vendors' performance and provide insights to optimize and improve.
Requirements:
Requirements
- 2–4 years of experience in technical partnerships, customer success, or sales within a SaaS or technology company
- Understanding of SaaS business models, B2B partnerships, and the MSP/IT ecosystem
- Excellent communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills
- Strong analytical and research capabilities
- Native-level English (spoken and written)
Nice to Have
- Experience with IT service providers, MSPs, or technology vendors.
- Knowledge of APIs and product integrations.
- Background in growing or managing Marketplace offerings.
