
Assistant to the Director of Ops and Comms

The Assistant will provide high-level support to the Director of Operations and Communications, ensuring smooth coordination across internal departments and with international partners.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain strong working relationships with SIGNAL Group's global partners to ensure the success of ongoing country projects in India, Japan, South Korea, and other key regions
- Support the execution of international collaboration initiatives by facilitating communication, scheduling, and coordination with external stakeholders
- Monitor and track the progress of international projects, ensuring timely follow-up and alignment with organizational goals
- Provide day-to-day administrative support to the Director of Operations and Communications
- Assist with scheduling, meeting preparation, note-taking, and task follow-up
- Coordinate internal workflows and interdepartmental communications
- Support planning and logistics for international academic and policy-related programs
- Liaise with international faculty and institutional partners in Israel, China, and India
- Help maintain organized records and project timelines
- Assist with managing SIGNAL Group's website, including content updates and coordination with technical support
- Contribute to social media and external communications, including drafting and posting content across platforms
Qualifications
- Fluent in English with a high level of Hebrew
- Highly organized, reliable, and detail-oriented
- Strong initiative and ability to work independently and efficiently
- Excellent time management and multitasking skills
- Ability to take clear, thorough, and detailed notes
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, Google Workspace
Added Value
- Background or interest in foreign policy, international relations, or public diplomacy
- Familiarity with Israeli government systems or working processes
- Experience with digital tools such as Mailchimp, WordPress, Canva, or Adobe Suite
- Social media or content management experience
- Previous coordination or assistant roles in international or nonprofit environments
