We’re looking for a Senior Full-Stack Developer to join BioCatch’s Applications Group and develop our applications platform, working across front-end applications and back-end services. A significant part of the role focuses on infrastructure and production environments, requiring familiarity with DevOps practices and hands-on involvement in CI/CD pipelines, deployment automation, and reliable production operations. What You’ll Do:
• Design, implement, and maintain applications and web services within the Applications Group’s ecosystem.
• Design and implement testable, maintainable software solutions using front-end and back-end technologies, including AI agent workflows with tool calling, evaluation, and safeguards to ensure safe execution.
• Maintain and improve CI/CD pipelines and deployment automation, and contribute to reliable application operations in production environments.
• Generate innovative ideas and recommend software improvements for existing applications.
• Work closely with product managers and transform product and user requirements into technical tasks.
• Develop deep expertise in the team’s product domain, share that knowledge across the team, and take technical ownership of the applications you build and maintain. Our Current Tech Stack Includes: NodeJS/ExpressJS/NestJS (JavaScript/Typescript), Python/Django, ReactJS, Postgres, Snowflake, MongoDB, MS-SQL Server, RabbitMQ, Kafka, Jenkins, ArgoCD, and Docker.

Requirements:

Sc. in Computer Science or equivalent practical experience
• 7+ years of experience designing and developing production-grade applications, with strong expertise in at least one of the following back-end languages: Node.js, Python, Java, Go, or C#.
• Experience building front-end applications with at least one of Angular 2+, React, or Vue, using HTML, CSS, JavaScript ES2015, and TypeScript.
• Excellent software engineering skills, with proven ability to build scalable, maintainable systems and apply strong design patterns
• Hands-on experience with at least one RDBMS (e.g., Postgres / MySQL / Oracle), including schema design and performance tuning
• Proven hands-on experience owning continuous integration and delivery (CI/CD) pipelines and release processes, including maintaining pipelines, automating deployments, and ensuring reliable releases.
• Hands-on experience working in Linux-based production environments, using container and orchestration technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes, and deployment tooling such as ArgoCD and Helm, or equivalent technologies.
• Hands-on experience testing application behavior with frameworks such as Cypress, Playwright, or React Testing Library, supported by a strong testing mindset.
• Ability to lead cross-team execution, influence technical direction, and drive complex initiatives end-to-end
• Experience with big data/ETL/analytics platforms such as Snowflake / ClickHouse / BigQuery AI

Skills:
• Strong understanding of AI agent architecture: planning, tool selection, and delegation; state and memory management; retries, fallbacks, and error recovery; and human-in-the-loop workflows.
• Experience with prompt and context engineering, tool/function calling, and structured outputs.
• Experience implementing AI evaluations and regression tests that measure agent quality, task completion, tool usage, behavioral changes, and failure modes.
• Understanding of AI guardrails, security controls, auditability, governance, and safe agent execution.
· Supporting engineering practices: familiarity with Infrastructure as Code, GitOps, and Git-based collaborative workflows. Advantage
