SQL Server DBA
Job Description
We are looking for a SQL Server DBA for a role combining application and infrastructure database administration across multiple systems and databases, primarily in on-premises environments. The role includes managing and maintaining SQL Server environments, working with high availability and disaster recovery solutions, and rewriting queries to improve performance.
Key Responsibilities
• Manage, maintain, and support Microsoft SQL Server environments.
• Perform application and infrastructure DBA tasks across multiple environments and databases.
• Work with Always On and Log Shipping to support system availability and resilience.
• Analyze and rewrite SQL queries to improve performance.
• Perform query and database tuning and optimization.
Requirements:
• Experience as a SQL Server DBA, covering both application and infrastructure database administration.
• Experience managing and maintaining multiple SQL Server environments.
• Experience with Always On and Log Shipping.
• Experience rewriting SQL queries, optimizing queries, and improving performance.
