We are looking for an experienced BI Developer to combine hands-on development with ownership of BI solutions from business requirements through implementation. In this role, you will work directly with clients and business stakeholders, translate their needs into technical solutions, and define development tasks for both BI and back-end teams. The role places a strong emphasis on Power BI, independent problem-solving, and end-to-end delivery. What you’ll do:
• Lead BI initiatives through requirements gathering, solution design, data preparation, dashboard development, testing, and implementation.
• Translate business needs into data models, reports, dashboards, and meaningful KPIs.
• Define development scope and break requirements down into actionable tasks, including specifications for the back-end team.
• Develop BI solutions in an environment combining cloud and on-premises technologies.
• Work with tools such as Power BI, QlikView, Qlik Sense, Power Apps, and semantic layers.
• Apply data visualization best practices and data storytelling to make complex information clear and actionable.
• Collaborate closely with business stakeholders and technical teams throughout delivery. What you’ll need:
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Industrial Engineering, Information Systems, or an equivalent qualification.
• At least 4 years of hands-on BI development experience, including ETL processes and dashboard development.
• Hands-on development experience with Power BI or Qlik.
• Expert-level SQL skills.
• Experience working with data warehouses (DWH).
• Ability to independently translate business requirements into technical specifications and development tasks. Nice to have
• Experience with cloud platforms and services.
• Experience with dedicated ETL tools.
• Familiarity with Python or Splunk.
