Mechanical / Thermal FAE – Cooling Solutions

Gil-Ad Sage Agencies Ltd. is looking for a Mechanical / Thermal FAE to support advanced thermal management and cooling solutions for leading global technology customers. This is a highly technical, customer-facing engineering role, working closely with customers’ mechanical, thermal, system and manufacturing engineering teams, as well as with a leading global manufacturer. The engineer will act as the local technical interface between the customer and the manufacturer, taking ownership of technical discussions and project follow-up from initial development through qualification, production ramp and mass production. Technologies & SolutionsThe role covers a broad range of advanced thermal and mechanical solutions, including:
• Liquid Cooling Solutions (LCS) – cold plates, manifolds and related cooling assemblies
• Fans -cooling solutions
• Vapor chambers and advanced thermal solutions
• Other mechanical and thermal solutions for AI, data centers, networking and high-performance computing systems What you’ll do:
• Serve as the local technical focal point for mechanical and thermal projects
• Work directly with customer mechanical, thermal, system and manufacturing engineering teams
• Lead and coordinate technical discussions between customers and the manufacturer’s engineering teams
• Understand customer requirements and translate them into clear technical requirements and actions
• Support product selection, technical evaluation and design-in activities
• Drive projects from development through sampling, validation, qualification and mass production
• Monitor manufacturing processes, production readiness, capacity ramp-up and engineering changes
• Drive technical issue resolution, including root-cause analysis and corrective actions, through closure
• Follow DFM, qualification, reliability, yield and production-related activities
• Track schedules, technical deliverables, open issues and action items
• Participate in technical reviews, engineering meetings, supplier audits and production ramp activities
• Coordinate closely with global engineering and manufacturing teams
• Drive technical topics forward, identify risks early and ensure timely closure of critical issues What we’re looking for:
• Mechanical Engineering or a closely related engineering background
• Strong understanding of mechanical design and manufacturing processes
• Experience with thermal management, liquid cooling, fans, heat sinks or cooling systems – a strong advantage
• Understanding of manufacturing processes such as CNC machining, brazing, welding, bonding, casting and assembly – an advantage
• Ability to read and understand engineering drawings, specifications and tolerances
• Experience working with R&D, manufacturing and quality teams
• Strong technical problem-solving and analytical capabilities
• Strong project follow-up skills and ability to manage multiple technical activities in parallel
• Ability to take ownership, follow details and drive actions to completion
• Strong communication and customer-facing capabilities
• Good English, both written and spoken
• Ability to work effectively with international engineering and manufacturing teams The position provides direct exposure to advanced AI, data-center, networking and high-performance computing technologies, supporting projects from early engineering development through high-volume production.
