Compliance Specialist Role

Our company is seeking a highly motivated Compliance Specialist to join our Finance team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for leading our global compliance program, ensuring alignment with regulatory requirements and internal policies.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead the implementation and maintenance of our compliance framework, ensuring it meets regulatory standards.
  • Conduct risk assessments, control gap analyses, and process walkthroughs to identify areas for improvement.
  • Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation of internal controls over financial reporting (ICFR).
  • Coordinate design and operational effectiveness testing of controls, identifying and remediating deficiencies.
  • Act as a key advisor to finance, legal, and operations teams to embed a strong internal control culture.
  • Serve as the primary liaison for internal and external auditors during audits and assurance engagements.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business, Economics, Finance, or Accounting.
  • 2-3 years of experience as a Compliance Specialist or similar role.
  • Strong knowledge of regulatory compliance, IFRS, and internal controls.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
