Financial Operations Specialist

Papaya Global is a rapidly growing company with a mission to revolutionize the payroll and payments industry.

We're looking for a motivated Senior controller to join our Finance team in Herzliya.

Job Description

• You will play a significant role in the global accounting team, taking part in the monthly, quarterly, and annual closing processes, including preparing required financial statements and tax filings.
• You will work directly with multiple stakeholders, including leadership and various departments, to drive key initiatives successfully; develop, implement, refine, and maintain scalable business processes and policies that support our growth, KPIs, and compliance.
• Provide periodical management reporting packages and reporting and analysis as needed internally and externally to our management and investors.

Requirements

• Experience in the hi-tech industry, including knowledge of different types of business models and revenue recognition principles.
• Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment with fluctuating priorities and deadlines.
• Team player - excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work effectively with people at all levels of the organization.
• CPA with Big 4 experience – must.
• Excellent Excel and Office skills.
• Full professional fluency (written and verbal) in both English and Hebrew.
• Highest standards of accuracy and precision, highly organized and detail-oriented.

• Develop and implement strategic plans to optimize finance operations and improve performance.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify areas for improvement and implement process enhancements.

• Provide expert-level guidance on accounting policies and procedures.

• Analyze financial data to inform business decisions.

Manage financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and reporting activities.

Serve as a subject matter expert on financial systems, processes, and controls.
