Prisma-Photonics is a rapidly growing startup company developing the next-generation smart-infrastructure solution based on novel fiber-sensing technology (smart roads, smart cities, perimeters and grid monitoring etc.). The company offers an award-winning disruptive solution; a sensor free approach to smart infrastructure.

We are seeking a professional with expertise in product management for our Power Grid Resilience product line. You will be responsible for a multi-disciplinary product including hardware embedded software as well as a cloud-based AI engine complex data collection operation and an elaborate customer GUI.

The ideal candidate will understand the requirements of highly-demanding Power Utilities around the world engage directly with them and direct R&D what to develop to reach customer satisfaction.

The Power Grid Resilience product manager reports to Prisma Photonics VP Product.

Key Responsibilities
  • Be a champion of the Power Utilities Grid Resilience market – understand the market current offerings gaps and opportunities.
  • Write product requirements for new products and features maximizing customer reach while minimizing product derivatives.
  • Manage the entire lifecycle of the product – from conception through customer pilots deployments continuous feature releases and end-of-life.
  • Develop written materials such as customer reports presentations one-pagers user guides etc.
Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field Master’s/Ph.D. preferred.
  • At least 5 years experience managing complex hardware-software systems.
  • Proven track record in product management for multidisciplinary products.
  • Customer facing experience.
Desirable Skills
  • Experience working in R&D roles.
  • Technical knowledge of AI and machine learning.
