Teller Team Leader
This role is perfect for individuals who are passionate about providing exceptional customer service and leading by example. As a Teller Team Leader, you will oversee the daily operations of the tellers, ensuring efficient and effective processing of customer transactions.
Your primary responsibilities will include motivating and guiding your team to achieve outstanding results, while maintaining a focus on delivering personalized service to each customer. You will also be responsible for recognizing cross-selling opportunities and directing customers to relevant personnel.
A successful candidate will have prior experience as a teller and at least 3-5 years of supervisory experience. They should also possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, be able to think critically, and make sound decisions under pressure.
Key Responsibilities:
- Customer Service:
- Welcome and serve customers in the lobby or drive-up area.
- Demonstrate a proactive approach to solving operational issues and making approvals/exceptions as needed.
- Recognize potential fraud and report it to management promptly.
- Serve as a mentor and coach to junior staff members, promoting growth and development.
- Conduct regular performance reviews to identify areas for improvement.
- Foster an open-door policy to encourage feedback and suggestions from team members.
- Monitor and analyze sales tracking data to optimize branch performance.
- Identify and address any bottlenecks or inefficiencies in branch operations.
- Maintain accurate records and perform regular audits to prevent errors.
