About the Role

Our organization is seeking a skilled and experienced PHY system engineer to contribute to the development of cutting-edge cellular communication systems for our next generation base-station products.

Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Lead PHY activities from feature development to integration, ensuring seamless collaboration with cross-functional teams.
  • Serve as the focal point for all PHY and RF-related aspects, providing technical expertise and guidance.
  • Define and write system-level requirements, driving the design and implementation of advanced cellular communication systems.
  • Continuously optimize and fine-tune PHY layer algorithms to enhance the performance and efficiency of base-station products.
  • Collaborate closely with software, digital signal processing (DSP), and other subsystems to ensure successful integration.
  • Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior engineers within the PHY team, fostering skill development and knowledge sharing.
Requirements and Qualifications:
  • 2-3 years of experience in wireless communication/PHY layer development or integration.
  • Good understanding of RX and TX PHY and RF chains.
  • Deep understanding of Wireless communication systems.
  • Working experience with RF lab test equipment.
  • Solid experience with scripting language (such as MATLAB or Python).
  • Very good system-level understanding within a multi-disciplinary environment (HW, SW, RF).
  • Excellent communication skills in English (written and verbal), team player and ability to thrive in a global multi-site environment.

  • Solid experience with programming languages.
  • Solid experience with Linux operating system.
