Key Responsibilities

1. Shipment Coordination and Scheduling

  • Ensure achievement of departmental operational targets while continuously improving processes.
  • Plan, coordinate, and monitor the shipment of goods to and from the plant, in collaboration with customers, suppliers, and freight forwarders.
  • Manage shipments of raw materials, finished goods, and spare parts via air, sea, and land.
  • Coordinate with shipping companies, customs brokers, freight forwarders, and warehouses.
  • Ensure timely and efficient logistics and transportation processes.

2. Communication with Internal and External Interfaces

  • Maintain ongoing communication with internal departments such as Accounting, Finance, Procurement, Planning, Warehouse, Sales, and Quality.
  • Serve as a point of contact for suppliers, customers, and logistics service providers.

3. Documentation and Reporting

  • Prepare shipping documents, invoices, and logistics reports as required.
  • Update ERP systems with accurate and up-to-date information.
  • Track shipments, issue related documentation, and process invoice approvals.

4. Operational Problem Solving

  • Handle logistics-related issues and exceptions efficiently and in real time.
  • Manage customs clearance while ensuring compliance with import/export regulations.

5. Process Improvement

  • Initiate and participate in projects aimed at optimizing logistics processes, improving efficiency, and reducing costs and lead times.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or another relevant field –
    mandatory
  • At least 2 years of experience in supply chain or logistics –
    mandatory
  • High-level English (spoken and written) –
    mandatory
  • Proficiency in SAP
    (or a similar ERP system) –
    mandatory
  • Strong interpersonal and cross-functional collaboration skills
  • Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities
  • Independent, organized, and detail-oriented
  • Strong negotiation and problem-solving skills
