We are seeking a driven and energetic Sales Development Representative (SDR) to join our growing sales team. As an SDR, you will play a crucial role in driving new business opportunities by identifying, contacting, and qualifying potential customers. Working closely with our sales and marketing teams, you'll help create a pipeline of high-quality leads and set up meetings for our sales executives. As the first point of contact with prospective customers, your work will be instrumental in shaping our success in the European and US markets for our AI-based platform in the food industry.

Position Overview:

As an SDR, you will be responsible for generating qualified leads, building a robust lead pipeline, and representing our company at industry events, trade shows, and conferences. This role requires a combination of sales skills, market knowledge, and the ability to effectively communicate the value of our AI-based platform for the food industry.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct outbound prospecting through calls, emails, and social media to identify and engage potential customers
  • Qualify inbound leads and conduct account research to connect with key decision-makers in the food industry
  • Create and nurture a pipeline of high-quality leads for the sales team
  • Set up meetings and demos for sales executives with qualified prospects
  • Represent the company at industry events, trade shows, and conferences
  • Collaborate closely with the sales and marketing teams to refine lead generation strategies
  • Track and report on key performance metrics and sales activities
  • Stay updated on industry trends, competitor offerings, and our product developments
Requirements
  • Native English speaker with excellent communication skills. Additional languages such as French, German, Spanish is an advantage.
  • At least 2 years of experience in a sales development or similar role, in the technology or food industry
  • Experience in B2B software and SaaS sales
  • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets and quotas
  • Strong prospecting, qualifying, and closing skills
  • Proficiency in CRM systems and sales engagement tools
  • Ability to quickly learn and articulate complex technical concepts related to AI and the food industry
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field
  • knowledge or background in food manufacturer / CPG - major advantage.
