
Business Development Manager

The Business Development Manager will play a critical role in driving revenue growth through the sale of our innovative spend management solution to finance teams and employees.
This is an exciting opportunity to join a fast-paced, high-growth startup with a strong portfolio of customers. As a key member of the sales team, you will be responsible for identifying and pursuing new business opportunities, building strategic relationships with finance leaders, and leveraging your expertise in value-based selling to close deals.
About The JobWe are seeking a highly motivated and experienced sales professional who has a proven track record of success in revenue generation and customer-facing executive roles within the tech industry. Ideal candidates will have a strong understanding of the dynamic nature of the sales landscape, as well as experience working in high-velocity sales models.
Candidates should also possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build pipeline and work effectively with cross-functional teams. Experience in fintech products and process improvement solutions is a plus.
Key Responsibilities- Consult with Finance leaders (CFOs, VPs, Directors) and Controllers to understand their needs and develop tailored solutions.
- Sourcetransform and close new SMB through a consultative and insight-driven sales approach.
- Proactively identify and pursue new business opportunities, leveraging multiple channels and existing customer lists.
- Leverage in-depth knowledge of our product offerings to identify lucrative opportunities for potential clients.
- Work closely with Customer Success and Marketing teams to increase customer advocacy and grow revenue of existing accounts.
- Provide valuable input into the product roadmap and be the voice of the customer for the product management and engineering teams.
- Minimum 1-2 years of demonstrated success in revenue generation and customer-facing executive roles within the dynamic realm of tech companies.
- At least one role in Sales experience to the US market.
- Confidence and experience in selling to the office of finance.
- Experience working in a high-velocity sales model.
- Understanding of basic pillars of Value Based Selling.
- Fluent professional proficiency in English, both written and spoken.
- Ability to thrive and adapt in a fast-paced, ever-evolving environment.
