We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated individual to join our team as an Operational Performance Analyst. This role is ideal for a student in the field of Industrial Engineering or Economics who is looking to gain hands-on experience in data analysis and reporting.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Monitor and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) for the Global Operation Center, providing regular reports to management on a monthly and quarterly basis.

Emission Analysis:
  • Analyze ZIM's fleet compliance with the Carbon Intensity Indicator (CII) regulation, working closely with self-service Business Intelligence (BI) tools to identify trends and insights related to CO2 emissions.
  • Provide global operation managers with detailed analysis and recommendations related to CII.
  • Analyze CII data from vessel owners to ensure compliance and accuracy.
  • Analyze European Trading System (ETS) emissions to optimize operations and reduce costs.

Self-Service BI Tools:
  • Design and develop self-service BI tools to enhance analysis capabilities and drive cost savings within the global operation directorate.

Requirements:
  • Student in Industrial Engineering or Economics - essential.
  • Strong Excel skills - essential.
  • Fluency in English (writing, reading, speaking) - essential.
  • Experience with BI tools, particularly Tableau - advantageous.
