We're hiring – Sales & Business Development Manager | New role

Sher Consulting & Training is part of the global Mérieux NutriSciences group and a market leader in Israel for consulting and training across the food sectors. About the role:

We're looking to add a
Sales & Business Development Manager
for a new, independent, and dynamic position focused primarily on B2B field sales and customer relations, combining business development with direct impact on the company's growth.

What you'll do
:


• Field sales, opportunity identification, and ongoing relationships with existing and new customers


• Build revenue forecasts, manage the sales process, and support company targets


• Partner in shaping go-to-market strategies for new services


• Identify partnerships and commercial opportunities in the food industry and adjacent domains

Requirements:

Professional experience
:


• 5+ years in B2B field sales and account management — required


• Experience in the food industry — strong advantage


• Experience in pharma, chemicals, or medical devices — advantage

Education:

Bachelor's degree in one of the following:

Business Administration / Economics / Marketing / Food Science / Biotechnology / Chemistry / Food Engineering / Industrial Engineering & Management

Interpersonal and professional skills:


• Ability to initiate sales processes for professional services in the food sector — advantage


• High-level negotiation skills


• Excellent communication and ability to build networking with customers, regulators, and professional associations


• Analytical thinking and data analysis skills


• Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work in a team

Languages:

Hebrew and English at a high level — speaking, reading, and writing

Additional details:

The role includes travel and field work, client meetings, professional networking, and leading processes with real impact on the company's growth directions. Reports directly to the CEO.

--> Hybrid position; company offices are in Tzur Yigal.
