Business Development Manager – Public Sector

Role Description
This position includes full responsibility for developing and managing relationships with government ministries and public-sector organizations, expanding engagement with existing customers, and creating new collaborations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage existing public-sector customers (government ministries) and lead ongoing work plans
- Drive strategic projects, lead processes, and submit proposals
- Expand business activity and recruit new government customers
- Own and manage day-to-day relationships with AWS and GCP, including building joint work plans
- Work with multiple internal interfaces – Sales, Delivery, FinOps, CSM, and more
- Be on-site with customers
2–3 times per week
Requirements
- Proven experience in sales and account management within the public sector
- Significant experience managing tender processes (reviewing, understanding, leading, and submitting)
- Deep familiarity with government ministries and public-sector workflows
- Strong interpersonal communication and the ability to manage complex interfaces
- Proactive mindset, responsibility, and high independence
- Excellent interpersonal skills and service orientation
- Ability to work in the field and maintain frequent customer visits
Strong Advantages
- Familiarity with cloud platforms – AWS / GCP / Azure
- Familiarity with Nimbus Project
- Experience from an integration company / SI / cloud company / software vendor
- Basic technical background – an advantage

תיאור התפקיד:
התפקיד כולל אחריות מלאה על פיתוח וניהול הקשר עם משרדי הממשלה והגופים הציבוריים, הרחבת הפעילות מול לקוחות קיימים ויצירת שיתופי פעולה חדשים.
מהות התפקיד:
-ניהול לקוחות קיימים במגזר הציבורי (משרדי ממשלה) והובלת תוכניות העבודה מולם
-קידום פרויקטים אסטרטגיים, הובלת תהליכי מכרזים והגשת הצעות
-הרחבת הפעילות העסקית מול גופים ציבוריים וגיוס לקוחות חדשים
-אחריות על הקשר השוטף מול AWS ו-GCP, כולל בניית תוכניות עבודה משותפות
-עבודה מרובת ממשקים בתוך החברה – מכירות, Delivery, FinOps, CSM ועוד
-נוכחות אצל לקוחות 2–3 פעמים בשבוע

-ניסיון מוכח במכירות, עבודה עם יעדים וניהול לקוחות במגזר הציבורי
-ניסיון משמעותי בניהול תהליכי מכרזים (קריאה, הבנה, הובלה והגשה)
-היכרות עמוקה עם משרדי ממשלה ותהליכי עבודה במגזר הציבורי
-יכולת ניהול ממשקים מורכבים ותקשורת מצוינת
-"ראש גדול", אחריות ויכולת הנעה עצמית
-יחסי אנוש מעולים וגישה שירותית
-יכולת עבודה בשטח וביקור תכוף אצל לקוחות
